Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 28, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through blackvine.media, including Revenue Leak Audit requests, contact requests, analytics, advertising measurement, and other interactions with this website.

This Policy does not govern information Blackvine processes inside a client's own CRM, email, SMS, scheduling, advertising, analytics, or related accounts while performing contracted services. Blackvine's operational approach to client systems is described separately on the Data, Privacy & Communications page.

2. Information You Provide Directly

Depending on the form or request, you may provide information such as your name, email, phone number, business name, industry, website, business or operational information, lead and follow-up information, form responses, and any other details you voluntarily submit — for example, through the Revenue Leak Audit, Contact, or other website forms.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Blackvine may collect information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, landing page, pages visited, session activity, visit date and time, approximate geographic information, advertising identifiers, UTM parameters, GCLID or similar campaign identifiers, form-submission events, conversion events, and cookie or similar-technology data.

This may occur through tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, HubSpot, Vercel, and similar site-operational tools. Some of these tools — including Google Analytics 4 — may be configured through Google Tag Manager rather than through separate code placed directly on this website.

4. How We Use Information

  • Responding to inquiries
  • Evaluating Revenue Leak Audit requests
  • Determining whether a business is a good fit for our services
  • Scheduling conversations
  • Providing requested information
  • Operating and improving the website
  • Measuring advertising and website performance, including attribution and conversion tracking
  • Preventing spam, fraud, abuse, or security problems
  • Maintaining business records
  • Complying with legal obligations
  • Communicating about our services where permitted

Submitting a website form does not, by itself, create marketing or SMS consent. Where a form or message requests specific consent, that consent applies only to what the form or message describes.

5. Revenue Leak Audit Eligibility

Submitting a Revenue Leak Audit or contact request does not guarantee acceptance, an audit, a consultation, service, or a business relationship. Blackvine may decline requests that are not a suitable fit for our service focus.

6. Sharing and Service Providers

Blackvine does not sell personal information for money.

We may share information as reasonably necessary with service providers and other parties that support our operations, including HubSpot; Google services such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads; Vercel; email, scheduling, and communications providers; analytics and security providers; other technical service providers; approved contractors; and professional advisers. We may also share information with government agencies, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally required, and with a buyer, successor, or adviser in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of some or all of our business.

Analytics and advertising tools we use may receive identifiers and activity data for measurement and advertising operations.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This site may use cookies, tags, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, conversion measurement, attribution, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, security, and performance monitoring.

This site does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and through controls offered by relevant advertising and analytics platforms.

8. Data Retention

Blackvine retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to requests, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting legal obligations, and supporting security and attribution.

Retention depends on factors such as the type of information, the purpose it was collected for, our business relationship with you, legal requirements, platform settings, security needs, recordkeeping requirements, and dispute requirements.

9. Data Security

Blackvine uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved, which may include role-based access, individual user accounts, multifactor authentication where available, minimum-necessary access, access removal, and avoidance of unnecessary sensitive data.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and Blackvine cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Healthcare-Related Information

Please do not submit diagnoses, medical records, treatment notes, insurance details, prescription information, or other protected clinical information through general website forms. Blackvine's standard practice is to avoid collecting protected health information through the public website. See Data, Privacy & Communications for more detail. Blackvine does not claim universal HIPAA compliance.

11. Children's Privacy

This website and Blackvine's services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 13. Blackvine does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact Jack@blackvine.media for removal.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising or profiling; and appeal a privacy-request decision where required by law. Not every right applies to every person or every jurisdiction.

To make a request, contact Jack@blackvine.media. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we may limit or deny requests where permitted by law.

13. Email and SMS Preferences

You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, opt out of SMS by replying STOP to applicable messages, or contact Jack@blackvine.media. Opting out of marketing messages may not stop administrative, transactional, security, or other service-related messages. Submitting a website form does not, by itself, create SMS consent.

14. External Links

This website may link to third-party websites. Blackvine is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The Last Updated date above will change when revisions are made. The current version is always available at this URL.
